Your contribution helps advance Scottish-American history and sustain Scottish heritage, cultural expression, and military traditions across the South Carolina Lowcountry. These efforts are carried out through educational and cultural events, the encouragement of excellence in traditional Scottish arts—such as Highland Bagpiping, Highland Dance, Scottish Fiddle, Scottish Harp (Clarsach), and the Scots Gaelic language—and by supporting academic achievement within the Scottish-American diaspora through grants and scholarships.
The Society operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as outlined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the applicable section of any future federal tax legislation.
